Kick Start Clinic is a great opportunity for kids to have a summer activity that’s local and beneficial! The concept is a 4-week program with weekly 45-50 minute practices on Monday evenings. The practice would include basic sports fundamentals that are fun and specific to that age of child development. The great thing about Kick Start is that it's extremely beginner-friendly and great for kids at all skill levels. The curriculum builds on itself each week and prepares players for any team sport, especially recreational soccer. The lesson will consist of basic soccer drills, engaging team games, and activities on agility development. The teams will have a maximum of 7 players, and I will have three qualified coaches partnering with me on this endeavor! The cost would be $100 for the four weeks at Jumbo Evans Sports Park.

With the club expanding, we've collaborated with the county to enhance parking facilities, currently underway and set for completion by May 1st. This expansion aligns with our future growth plans.

We're thrilled to announce securing funding in partnership with Comal County for Phase 1 lighting at Jumbo Evans soccer complex. The budget for this phase is $350,000, and we've successfully remained under budget. Lighting installation will commence in the summer, with completion expected before the fall season. Phase 1 lighting will illuminate Field 8 and its surroundings, marking a significant milestone towards our ultimate goal of lighting all fields at Jumbo Evans soccer complex.

Exciting Announcement

Beginning with our fall 2023 season Bulverde Rangers will be rebranded under the name Strive Soccer Club for our Select and Academy programs. As a result of our partnership with Relentless Soccer Club our organization is moving into a more elite level future.

The board is extremely excited about the new era under the Strive branding. The rebrand will take place in May 2023 for our player placement events for select & academy open day as we prepare for the forthcoming season in fall 2023.

As we go into the new era with Strive a lot will be changing for the benefit of the players and our teams. As the name suggests we will be “Striving” to be the best youth soccer club in South Texas which is an exciting prospect for the community of Bulverde/Spring Branch.

The recreational side of the club will be sticking to our roots and remain as Bulverde Youth Soccer Association. As a club we are very excited about our new identity and hope you guys are excited to continue supporting the club as we move into the new era!

VOLUNTEER AT BYSA!

Volunteers are an essential component of the Bulverde Youth Soccer Club.  

1-All recreational coaches are parent volunteers.  We encourage you to volunteer and be involved in the recreational soccer league with your player.  As a parent volunteer coach, you can determine practice day and time.   Interested parents are encouraged to check the volunteer box when registering their player.  Volunteers will be contacted prior to the start of season based on the vacancies needed to complete and form teams according to the age divisions.

2-We also have volunteer positions open on our board.  Get involved and help promote the beautiful game of soccer in our community!

3-Other volunteer opportunities include field/facilities maintenance, fundraising and concession  stand.
